Year 5 are experiencing lovely weather and have so far enjoyed some archery, giant swings, muddy tunnels and jumping off the trapeze! Delicious curry or sausage rolls for dinner, then sports on the field. pic.twitter.com/K1qXAHutSs— Thames Ditton Jrs () May 16, 2024

Cross Country Champions

What an incredible super-Saturday for TDJS at the Schools Cross-country Run event last week near Garson's Farm. The sun was out and although the ground was extremely muddy, it could have been worse!

Medals were awarded for the top 3 runners in each category with Mabel, Ava and Theo winning medals for Y4, Ben and Lotta in Y5 and Georgia, Arlo and Marlin in Y6.

13 schools competed and it was a fantastic win once again for TDJS who were 100 points ahead of the second placed school (Hinchley Wood Primary). The trophy is currently at the engravers, and we can't wait to proudly display it at TDJS.

A special thank you to Mrs Charlton who organised the training, the selection process and was part of the event organisation on the day.
