Library
Here at Thames Ditton Junior we use a library system called Junior Librarian. In school pupils can choose a book, scan it and borrow it just like they can in the Public Libraries. You may also look at the books on our system at home and reserve them.
Please read the Library Guide below to find out how to use the system.
Looking for Dyslexia Friendly books? Just enter "dyslexia" in the search box.
Looking for an easier read? Just enter "early reader" in the search box.
If we don't have the book you want, you could always try your local library. It's easy to join. Just click on this link - Surrey Libraries - join today!
If the library is closed, you can still return your books by using the Book Returns box, which is just outside the library door.
How to use the online Library System
Welcome to the Library!
All children can access the library system from home or wherever a computer is available with access to the Internet.
They can browse the books in the library, look at the books they have out or previously borrowed, reserve a book, cancel a reservation or write a review for a book they have read.
To access Junior Librarian click on the portal It is important that you access the system via this portal as otherwise you may find yourself on another school’s library system and you will not be able to log in!
Your child should already have been told their login details but if not, they can find their login number on the class sheet of barcodes in the library (ask the librarian) and their password is their birthdate in the format DDMMYYYY
