School Trips and Events

School Trips and Workshops

Pupils who attend TDJS are given lots of opportunities to develop academically, culturally and socially by attending the many trips we run throughout the school year. From day trips to places such as Kew Gardens, the Imperial War Museum and Chertsey Museum through to our more extensive residential trips (see below), there is plenty for our pupils to look forward to from Year 3 through to Year 6.

In addition to day trips, we also arrange for companies to visit us, with a wide range of visitors ranging from Rainforest Animal Experiences and Anglo-Saxon Workshops to stargazing and drama.

We can only provide these opportunities by asking parents to make voluntary contributions.  If insufficient contributions are made, visits may unfortunately have to be cancelled.

We also offer the opportunity for extended and residential trips:

Year 3       Walton Firs (extended day)

Year 4       Hindleap Warren (one night)

Year 5       Marchants Hill (two nights)

Year 6       Isle of Wight (two nights)

Payment for all school trips, workshops and school dinners should be made online via Scopay.  There is a link below and a parent guide.
