September 2022

  1. Looked after children and previously looked after children

  2. Exceptional social/medical need

  3. Children of staff at the school

  4. Siblings, at the time of admission, for whom the school is the nearest to their home address

  5. Children attending Thames Ditton Infant School
  6. Any other children

 

N.B. Criteria 5 will only apply until 31st August 2022 after which time any children on the waiting list from Thames Ditton Infant School will lose the feeder school link and be re ranked.  All children on the Year 3 waiting list from September 1st will be offered available places directly from the school rather than from Surrey Admissions.  The feeder link (Thames Ditton Infant School) will remain for new applications for the following year.

Appeals

 

September 2021 entry

Appeals resulting from year of entry or transfer applications for admission in September 2020 will be heard according to the following timetable:

 

Offers on 16 April 2021

Appeals lodged by 17th May 2021

Appeals to be heard by 19th July 2021

 

Please note, appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed.  Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.

 

Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing.  Appellants will be sent a copy of the school's case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing.

Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal, is received by 5pm on the day preceding three clear working days prior to the appeal hearing date.  Any additional evidence or information received after this date might not be considered at the appeal hearing.

 

In year or immediate entry appeals

Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
