Admission Consulation 2024/25

Consultation on TDJS Admission Arrangements for September 2024/25

The Trust Board of Thames Ditton Junior School is currently considering admission arrangements for entry in September 2024.  As determined by the School Admissions Code, we have a statutory duty to consult on these arrangements if we are proposing any changes.

The change being proposed is as follows:

To reorder the 3rd and 4th fourth priority under the school’s Oversubscription Criteria so that the ‘Siblings’ are admitted above ‘Children of staff’. The first two criteria remain unchanged and the new order of criteria three and four are indicated below as follows. Criteria five and six remain unchanged:

     1.   First Priority: Looked-after and previously looked after children

     2.   Second Priority: Exceptional social / medical needs

     3.  Third Priority: Siblings at the time of admission

     4.  Fourth Priority: Children of a member of Staff

     5.  Children attending Thames Ditton Infant School

     6.  Any other children

The proposed Admissions Criteria for September 2024 can be accessed below
