Year 3 Pupils for September 2019

Applications can be made between 29th October 2018 and 15th January 2019 for September 2019.  Applications can be made online at www.surreycc.gov.uk/admissions  Pupils will be informed of their school place on 16th April 2019.  This place must be accepted or declined by 30th April 2019 either online or by returning the reply slip (if applicable).

If you have not been offered your first (or second) preference school - you are still strongly advised to accept the offer you have been given.  Your child will then be placed on the waiting list for the school you listed as a higher preference.  This waiting list is held by Surrey Admissions & Transport team until the end of August.  You may contact them on 0300 200 1004.  From September this waiting list will then be managed by our school.  Your child will remain on this waiting list until the end of the 2019/20 Academic Year. If you wish them to remain on the waiting list after this date you must write to us or send an email to becky.gardiner@tdjs.org

My child has been offered a place - what happens next?

We will send out letters to all pupils with confirmed places,  inviting them to join us for an induction afternoon. This will be taking place in July for pupils only, in their new classroom.  The children will be ready to collect at 2.45pm.

There will also be an information evening for parents in early July.  Please join us at 6.30pm for a drink and to meet staff and other parents. This is followed by a presentation at 7.00pm, which will last about an hour.  Induction packs and admission forms will be available for collection then.  If you have any questions in the meantime, do please contact the School Office, who will be more than happy to help.

In-Year Places

If your child has been offered a place in our school for current Year 3, 4, 5 or 6 then please contact us as soon as possible. It may be possible to arrange a brief visit to our school before your child starts to enable them to meet both their new teacher and their class.

Class teachers usually arrange to pair new pupils up with one or more 'buddies' within their class to help them settle in quickly and to find their way around the school.  Do take a look around our website to find out what our school can offer.  If you have any questions then do please contact the School Office.
