Flute and Clarinet Lessons
Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday All Day
Pupils initially learn how to play the flute/clarinet in small groups of between 2 to 3 pupils before moving into individual lessons as they progress through ABRSM exams.Each lesson lasts for approximately 30 minutes and there are at least 10 lessons per term.
All pupils must have their own instrument and a willingness to practice regularly. Recent students have gained grade up to 4 and 5
before leaving school. Music scholarships have been achieved at St Teresa’s School, Priorsfield and St Georges Weybridge.

Recorder Lessons - Take place in the Little Lodge
Beginners 1 THURSDAY 12:15 – 12:45
Beginners 2 THURSDAY 12:45 - 1:15
Intermediate WEDNESDAY 12:15 – 12:45
Advanced WEDNESDAY 12:45 – 1:15
All pupils will need their own recorder Aulos/ Yamaha black and white descant recorders are preferable.
Beginner applications are taken on a first come first served basis.
The beginner groups concentrate upon learning how to read music as well as learning how to play the descant recorder.
Intermediate and Advanced groups learn many popular pieces, from film and TV themes to classical favourites, with the emphasis on enjoying performing whilst developing fluency and technique.
Advanced players may also choose to learn how to play the treble or tenor recorder in ensemble pieces.
